My experience with the foundation
This foundation was recommended by me to a friend, and I am very pleased with the results. It has a fairly runny consistency and needs to be layered to achieve good coverage- but it layers well and leaves no 'cakey' areas.
I would agree with Dior that the foundations melts into the skin and leaves a flawless finish- the finish is similar to that of Lancome Teint Ultra Idole in my opinion. It has a satin finish but can be mattified with the use of a setting powder over the top. The foundation wears well throughout the day and true to Diors claims- it does last all day! I have been very pleased with this foundation but wish i had chosen one shade darker for the coming summer months (I have number 020). Overall this is a great foundation- Still I wouldnt say my holy grail but still one for the collection.
So my search continues for the perfect foundation- I'm not entirely sure what any of these foundations are missing- but I'm waiting for the one that makes me think WOW, I will never need to use any other foundation ever again! Maybe I'm being a little unrealistic in my expectations, we shall see!!
